George Russo is the founder and owner of United American Title Agency and is one of the few title agency owners in New York with a background in real estate law.

Born into a family of service, his father served in the United States Armed Forces. George was raised in Ozone Park, Queens. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in 1979, his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1982, and was admitted to the New York State Bar as a licensed attorney in 1983.

His legal career began at the Queens District Attorney’s Office, where he served as an Assistant District Attorney until 1986. He then built a private real estate law practice that he led for over three decades, retiring in 2019, and bringing that expertise directly into the United American Title Agency.

George has been a fixture in the Queens community throughout his career. He currently serves as President of the Boys & Girls Club of Metro-Queens, as a Trustee of the Queens Library Board & as a member of Community Board 10. He has previously served on Community Board 9, Community School Board, District 27 & as a Trustee of the New York Racing Association.

As the second-generation owner of Villa Russo Catering Hall in Richmond Hill, a family-owned institution since 1954, George understands what it means to build a business rooted in community trust.

He is married to his wife, Antha. He is the proud father of George, Arianna, Nicolette, and Giovana, and grandfather of seven. His late son Paul, is remembered with love.
